about

We write the chorus, you write the verse.

Materials was recorded in 2005 in between shows with bands like The Mathematicians, Ponytail, Dan Deacon, Matt & Kim, The Deathset, Parts & Labor, Video Hippos, Creeping Nobodies, Human Host, They Shoot Horses, and Wzt Hearts.

We'll show you how by doing it first.

The original CD release was lovingly hand-packaged inside a hidden compartment carved into the pages of a different used book, making each copy unique. You can see some of the original covers on the background of this page, or by clicking on the individual tracks.

We're pleased to rerelease the record digitally on Bandcamp with pay-what-you-want pricing. Enjoy!
